How do I powerwash a Chromebook?
Power washing or resetting a Chromebook clears out settings that interfere with access to various school and library software.
Answer
1. Log out of the Chromebook
2. Reset the chromebook by pressing the Shift--Ctrl--Alt--R keys at the same time. This initiates the reset process.
3. Check that the Keyboard setting in the lower right corner is US (not INT or CO)
4. The power wash window automatically pops up. Click Ok to begin. Continue through the screens. When prompted for a Wifi network, use the cvusdguest account and password.
5. Enterprise enrollment will begin automatically. When done, click done.
6. Shut down completely.
7. Power on.
